Wage Revision Updates

GIPSA once again offered Pay-hike of 17.5%. Unions rejected the offer for betterment. The earlier scale structure offered was 16350-53100 modified provisionally to 16600-54000 (there may be some changes in structure). Associations demanded further improvements and de-linking of Management Agenda from Wage Revision talks.
At the end, GIPSA Chairman assured that subject to any improvement of offer in any financial institution (LIC perhaps) the same may be reflected to our revision.

  1. Apart from the betterment in basic scales, unions should ask for reimbursement of petrol litres scale wise as in the banks except for the officers' with marketing functions.

  2. Agency initiatives are bullshit. No improvement in the office performance,
no improvement in Agent's performance except shifting of business of dummy agencies to earn benefits of initiatives. This should be stopped immediately.

  3. Unions are requested to take up this matter, as I found it convincing.

The Exams. for promotions are taken with selection of 4 subjects. Do we require Officers of this kind or do we require a person who may sit in any place should know the basics of each subject of insurance.

Hence, let there be 150 questions 15 each from each departments and let an officer answer 100 whichever he knows the best. May it be 9 or 10 from each department. We need jack of all not the master of one. Those days have gone.

    Pl. think and push through.
